TOXIPLEX
RUO MYCOTOXIN DETECTION TEST NOW AVAILABLE
WHAT ARE MYCOTOXINS ?
Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites produced by several fungal species like Penicillium or Aspergillus. Humans get exposed to mycotoxins by ingesting mold-contaminated food or inhaling mold/spores.
Mycotoxins in humans at low or chronic levels of exposure are related to endocrine disorders, nephrotoxicity, and more. From a human health perspective, the five most common mycotoxins include Aflatoxins, Deoxynivalenol, Fumonisins, Ochratoxins, and Zearalenone.
WHY TOXIPLEX TEST ?
TOXIPLEX is a first-of-its-kind direct and competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect five common mycotoxins in human serum/plasma with high accuracy, precision, specificity, and low cost.
TOXIPLEX is an easy-to-use ELISA for clinical laboratories that can directly detect the presence or absence of mycotoxin molecules in human serum/plasma. TOXIPLEX does not rely on indirect detection methods like measuring human antibody responses to mycotoxins.
